Born in Sarasota, Florida, Steve studied art at the Rhode Island School of Design and received a BFA from the University of California Santa Barbara College of Creative Studies.
Hired as an art director for McCann Erickson San Diego, Steve worked closely with the San Diego Zoo, General Dynamics, Del Mar Racetrack, Lockheed Martin, Zurich, WD-40 and a host of other national accounts.
Steve built a photography and design business in San Diego. Steve maintained accounts throughout Southern California, in particular at GT Bicycles, Troxel Equestrian, Sector Nine Skateboards, ProAction Sports and Disney.
Steve helped create Einstein Medical – one of the largest physician specific ad agencies in the world. Steve acted as creative director for 8 years and built and directed a staff of over 45 designers, copywriters and web developers.
Steve relocated back to Sarasota in 2006. He continues to consult on web design and development for pharmaceutical companies and medical associations.
Steve is most well known for large format panoramic work. His aerial work is in collections around the world and he’s worked with the State of Florida, Advantus Resorts, Omni hotels and many other accounts domestically and internationally. In Sarasota, his work is in the permanent collections at Marina Jacks, Olearys, Mattison’s, Jennett Reality, several Florida law firms and many other private collectors.
Steve maintains a professional photography studio here and focuses on fine art and large scale panoramic work.
